Do you need to repair your broken tooth with a dental crown, but don’t have the luxury of missing work or school on two separate occasions? Our single visit dental crowns allow you to complete the entire procedure in just one day.
What are CEREC Dental Crowns?
State of the art CAD/CAM technology allows us to mill your customized porcelain crown right here in our practice. As such, you’re able to benefit from a strong crown in fewer trips to the dentist.
Some dentists only provide same day crowns on teeth that are not visible when you smile. However, Harmony Dental has extensive training with aesthetic CEREC techniques, allowing us to place them on anterior teeth without compromising the appearance of your smile. Each of these crowns is milled form a solid piece of tooth colored ceramic that we carefully match to your adjacent enamel.
Faster Treatments for Root Canal Patients
One of the most common uses of a crown is to restore teeth that have been treated with a root canal. Traditionally, the patient has their endodontic treatment, along with the crown prep, and comes back two weeks later to have their permanent crown bonded into place.
But with CEREC, we can place your dental crown at the same visit as your root canal!
Do I Need a Dental Crown?
A crown preserves your remaining tooth structure so it can continue functioning without further breaking apart. It provides stability and reinforces the tooth against intraoral pressures. Crowns are used to cover a tooth with large areas of decay or cracks that cannot support a filling.
To ensure that your crown lasts as long as possible, it’s important to brush and floss around it daily. We may also recommend wearing a night guard to bed, to prevent any excessive wearing to your teeth or existing restorations that you have invested in.
Convenience and Affordability of Dental Crowns
One of the best ways to save on the cost of your dental care is to have all of your treatments completed in fewer visits. Thanks to same-day dental crowns and our comfortable sedation dentistry choices, you can! Now you’ll take less time off of work and be able to rejuvenate your smile in just a single appointment.
At Harmony Dental, our sedation dentists have advanced experience in cosmetic procedures, oral surgery, and advanced restorative techniques.
